Director of Product Development

ScribeConnect is rapidly growing and we are looking for a motivated individual with extensive experience in eLearning authoring, production, and design to lead the development, direction, and coordination the company's curriculum, education content, and other products. This position will oversee the development, deployment, and review of ScribeConnect commercial education products which include both print and digital assets. 

In this role, you will:
  • Be responsible for developing, deploying, and overseeing the company's education products, programs, and initiatives including, but not limited to:
    • Commercial Online Education eCourse Products
    • Internal Scribe Education Materials
    • Materials to assist and support marketing efforts of our products
  • Be expected to apply your business and management expertise to achieve financial and operational objectives within and across disciplines or departments, specifically with marketing and sales;
  • Build and manage a team and set team and individual goals that align with ScribeConnect's mission;
  • Lead staff, create opportunities for staff development, make hiring decisions, and drive performance management, recognition and rewards;
  • Develop team structure that facilitates and maximizes individual and team performance;
  • Manage the budget for all education products and initiatives;
  • Drive annual concept map;
  • Maintain close relationships with key industry groups, such as healthcare management groups, regulatory groups, and healthcare education organizations;
  • Manage and execute ScribeConnect's Education business logistics such as:
    • Registering education assets with the Library of Congress;
    • Obtaining ISBN numbers for education assets;
  • Lead the development of strategic education plans and reviews

Experience Must Include:
  • Curriculum development and deployment;
  • eLearning authoring, design, and production
  • Education strategy development;
  • Presenting content in person, live online, and recorded;
  • Healthcare-specific education (preference will be given to those with scribe-specific education experience);
  • Event execution;
  • Project management, including defining project priorities, scheduling project deadlines, and managing teams; 

This is a full-time, remote-work position. However, there may be occasional travel requirements and you should anticipate traveling 3-5 days at a time, 4-5 times per year.  You must reside in the lower 48 states of America.
