Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Framer to join our construction team. The Framer will play a crucial role in the construction process by ensuring that structural framing is carried out accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have expertise in framing techniques, a strong understanding of construction blueprints, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret construction blueprints and plans to determine framing requirements.
  • Measure, cut, and shape framing materials (e.g., wood, steel) according to specifications.
  • Assemble and install framing components, including walls, roofs, and floors.
  • Ensure that all framing work is completed with precision and adheres to building codes and project specifications.
  • Implement diagonal bracing techniques to maintain structural integrity.
  • Collaborate with other construction team members, such as carpenters, to coordinate and complete framing tasks effectively.
  • Inspect and troubleshoot framing work to identify and resolve any issues or defects.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure that tools and equipment are in good working condition.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and promote a culture of safety on the job site.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Framer in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of framing techniques and materials.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction blueprints and plans.
  • Ability to accurately measure, cut, and shape framing materials.
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to framing work.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Team player with good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to safety and a strong safety record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in framing is a plus.
